Earth Colors Batik Clergy Stole

This batik clergy stole is primarily brown, teal, gold and plum. The fabric was handmade in Indonesia. I like the mosaic design which is sharp in some places but blurry in other places. It has a sun-dappled look.

The neck lies nice and flat. Neat mitered point in the back (below).

Lavender Ice Batik Clergy Stole

I just finished making three of these stoles today. The batik fabric is hand printed in Indonesia. This is an extraordinary fabric. It looks like blue and lavender ice crystals and melting ice. Each stole is slightly different because of the randomness involved in the fabric dyeing. The backs are a solid, pale lavender. This would look particularly stunning on someone with white or gray hair, don't you think?
It looks good on a black or white robe. Click here: Lavender Ice Batik clergy stoles.

Handmade Clergy Stoles Available on Etsy

This 54" long women's floral clergy stole is available in my Etsy shop: Shadrach's
I made this stole using tailoring methods so that the curved neckline will lay nice and flat.
The edges are crisp and straight. The interfacing gives the stole a nice weight.
The cotton/poly blend lining resists wrinkles and won't slide off your lap when you're sitting down.

This will look stunning on a black robe. Made from 100% cotton floral print "Flora Rosa"
by Benartex. Floral design on a black/gray background.
